A Parigi, nel palazzo di Avenue Marceau, sede storica dell’atelier di Yves Saint Laurent, rivive l’arte dello stilista francese. Non si tratta di una semplice esposizione, ma di un cuore pulsante che, a ogni battito, sprigiona una passione tanto ricercata quanto attuale. Tra schizzi, rotoli di tessuti e cassetti pieni di perline e pizzi, tutto è incentrato sull’atelier: il luogo in cui è nata ogni creazione che ha poi dato vita a intere collezioni. Gli arredi sono quelli originari e fanno da sfondo a una produzione che non ha precedenti nel mondo dell’haute couture. Cinquemila abiti di alta moda, quindicimila accessori, migliaia di schizzi, schede, fotografie e oggetti archiviati dal 1961 al 2002. La visita al museo è un viaggio attraverso luoghi ed epoche. Abiti ispirati all’Africa, alla Spagna, all’Asia: su una mantella arancio che copre un abito rosso sono ricamate le bouganville del giadino della casa di Marrakech. Ma è anche un percorso trasversale nelle diverse epoche. La mostra ospita infatti il primo modello di Alta Moda, quello con l’etichetta 0001 per intenderci. Si tratta di un abito nero da sera ispirato a un costume di scena creato per Zizi Jeanmaire. Non mancano i riferimenti all’arte. Da Picasso a Mondrian, passando per le meravigliose gonne Matisse o per il corpetto ricamato con i girasoli di Van Gogh e indossato da una giovane Naomi Campbell. E poi, gran finale, nella sala delle collezioni ispirate ai pittori, il video del discorso con il quale nel 2002 Yves Saint Laurent diceva addio per sempre alla sua maison “sapendo che i più bei paradisi sono quelli che abbiamo perduto”. A visit to the museum is a journey through places and eras. Dresses inspired by Africa, Spain and Asia: the bougainvillea of ​​the Marrakech house is embroidered on an orange cape that covers a red dress. But it is also a transversal journey through the different eras. In fact, the exhibition hosts the first Alta Moda model, the one with the 0001 label, for instance. It is a black evening dress inspired by a stage costume created for Zizi Jeanmaire. There is no lack of references to art.
